Mitra shows the same entries in five views:

  • The week, hour by hour, with a column per day.
  • The month, with weeks as rows and entries as bars across their days.
  • The year, with each month as one row of days.
  • The timeline, with your open tasks one per row.
  • The table, with your entries as rows to sort, filter and change many at once.

Pick a view from the view picker in the page header, or press its key: W, M, Y, L or S. Switching keeps the date you were looking at. Default View in Settings sets the view Mitra opens on.

In every view but the table, the arrows beside Today step back and forward by the view’s own period: a week, a month or a year. T returns to today, and G jumps to any date. You can also just scroll.

Hold Ctrl and scroll, or pinch with two fingers, to zoom the week, month, year and timeline views. Scrolling over a view’s edge zooms without Ctrl: the hours in the week, the week numbers in the month, the month names in the year and the dates along the timeline. Each view remembers its zoom on the device you’re using.

Press and hold an entry for half a second to move or resize it, or hold on an empty spot to create one. A plain swipe scrolls, so you never move something by accident.

The address in your browser holds the view, the date and the entry you have open, so a bookmark or a link you send someone opens the same place. Settings pages work the same way.
